Mother’s hold a very special place in the hearts of the children. To honour motherhood, Mother’s Day was celebrated for the first time in the campus of St. Xavier’s High School on 5th May, 2018.
U.K.G Children and their parents participated in the programme. The programme started with a prayer song, sung by the KidZone teachers. Rev. Fr Principal delivered the welcome speech to the parents. U.K.G children put up a great show expressing their love for their mothers. The tiny-tots danced and sang songs to their moms for their unconditional love. Rev. Fr Rector, Fr Principal, Fr Vice-Principal, Br Tony, Br Vijay graced the occasion with their presence.
Fathers and kids made beautiful photo frames for their Mothers. Interesting and fun-filled games like bombing the city and lucky dip were played with mothers. Winner moms were awarded by Rev. Fr Principal. The Children presented the photo frames to their moms on the stage.
The Programme ended with the vote of thanks by Fr Vice-Principal. It was a memorable day for the Mothers of U.K.G children.
