Description: Awareness Program for the safety of children against Child Abuse “Good Touch and Bad Touch” organised by St. Xavier’s High School, West Gandhi Maidan, Patna-800001 on 21st September 2017 . The whole counselling session was done exclusively by the resource person Mrs. Veena Kumari (Add SP, Anti Corruption, Patna) Mrs. Rashmi Singh (Bihar Children's Right and Protection Commission) Mrs Rekha Kumari (Counsellor, St Xavier’s High School), Mrs. Helen Michelle Shah (Coordinator, St Xavier’s Primary Wing). The program was inaugurated by Rev. Fr Jacob(Principal). The purpose of child safety rules awareness programme “Good Touch and Bad Touch” is to give important information of awareness, protection and how to deal with such situations. It was two days awareness counselling session organised for Primary Wing Students. Although children learned to understand, protect and deal he situation from unsafe touch. The main purpose of this session was to sensitize children about various issues and about good touch and bad touch. It was to make them emotionally strong and help them to grow normally. It will help them to handle the situation regarding child abuse in life in a better way so that they do not get affected by the situations in their growth and personality.
