Description: 66th Annual Sports Meet was organized in our school on 26th November, 2022. Mr. Sunil Kumar, honorable Minister, Excise and Registration Department, Government of Bihar graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Fr. (Dr.) Martin Poras, S.J., Principal of St. Xavier’s Colleges of Management, Patna and Fr. (Dr.) Ignatius Topno, S.J., Principal of St. Xavier’s College of Education were the guests of honor. The programme started at 10.30 a.m. by welcoming of the guests. The torch was lit, Divyanshu, the school President conducted the oath taking ceremony. The programme caught momentum by the march past of the four houses. The Primary wing presented four displays, house wise.Tigers house used flags, Lions house displayed sunflower, Leopards used wings and the winning team Panthers chose Peacock in their display.
The High School students, class VI displayed with pompom on the song, ‘It’s a
beautiful world’ with the message Save trees, Save Earth.
Class VII used colourful rings in the display, class VIII performed steps on Yoga. Class IX and X were engaged in March Past. Some events were conducted prior to the main event. On the Sports Day some events were conducted like race, cock fight, tug of war, etc.
The Karate group displayed their strength and valour along with their creativity forming pyramids.
Students were awarded school awards for their excellent performance in Academics in the year 2021-22.
Lions team emerged the winner, Tigers house was runner up, Panthers stood third and Leopards was fourth. The 4 hours programme ended in a grand and spectacular way in grand finale. It was appreciated by all.
