Description: St. Xavier’s Celebrated the Ignatian week from 22nd July to 31st July to mark the importance of the teaching of St. Ignatius of Loyola in our Life.
Feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola was celebrated with Zest and fervour on 30th and 31st of July ,2019 on the school campus.
The celebration began on 30th with the students during the special assembly. It was very well organised under the able guidance of Mrs. Nutan J.Haroon . The attraction of this special assembly was a skit on the life of St. Ignatius of Loyola by Mrs. Gracy Martin and Prayer Dance prepared by Mrs. Rita E. Osta and Mrs. Jacinta played the role of preparing the M.C.
Our New Rector Rev. Fr. Joseph Sebastian welcome and was introduced to the students and staff of the school .Our Primary school children welcomed the Rev. Fathers and Brothers by gifting them flowers and cards on this special occasion.
The 31st Programme was co-ordinated by Mrs. Gracy Martin, Mrs. Veronica & Mrs. Nutan J. Haroon .The special mass was conducted by our New Rector Fr. Joseph Sebastian ,Principal Fr. A. Christu Savarirajan, SJ and Fr. Peter followed by song Mrs. Saroj Kullu and teachers.
There was a power point presentation on the conversion of St. Ignatius of Loyola prepared by Rev. Fr. Vice Principal Fr. Devashish Prasad, SJ and Mr. Anuranjan Ekka . Bible reading was done by Mr. Amar Prakash . A short message was given on the occasion by our new Rector Rev. Fr. Joseph Sebastian S.J. which was followed by a lunch.
