Description: The heart of literature is poetry. To spread the scent of verse among the youngsters, a Hindi Rhyme Recitation Competition was held for LKG Class in St. Xavier’s High School on 26 th July, 2024 (Friday). The children recited a variety of rhymes based on God, nature, animals etc. with a lot of enthusiasm and zeal.
They had fun reciting the rhymes with lovely expressions, rhythm and confidence. Everyone was spellbound by the magic of the innocent gestures and words of our little angels. The primary objective of this competition was to improve the children’s public speaking skills and boost their confidence.
The principal of St. Xavier’s High School, Fr. K.P. Domichan, S.J., praised the effort of children as well as teachers. He emphasized the importance of rhyme recitation competition as it helps kids develop language skills, memory and confidence. Father Vice-Principal also witnessed the event and enjoyed the performance of our young learners.
Our judges, Mrs. Richa Bharti from St. John’s Academy, Kankarbagh and Ms. Shobha Minj from primary wing of St. Xavier’s High School appreciated the performance of our little participants.
Vote of thanks was given by our KidZone coordinator Mrs. Shivani Bhaskar. She extended heartfelt gratitude to God, Father Principal, Father Vice Principal, Judges, teachers and our supporting staff.
This event showcased the potential and enthusiasm of our tiny toddlers.
