Description: Children’s Day Celebration, 2018
The Children’s Day programme was organised and celebrated at St. Xavier’s High School with great enthusiasm on 17th November, 2018.
The Celebration began with the garlanding of the portrait of Chacha Nehru and offering him the floral tribute. The children were welcomed by a beautiful song sung by the teachers. The Day was marked by back to back performances of the teachers of all the wings of St. Xavier’s High School. The outstanding Garba Dance was presented by the teachers of the Kidzone. The High school teachers organised and presented the skit very creatively. Finally the mesmerizing qawwali was sung by the primary teachers.
The children too showcased and exhibited their talents in the form of fancy dress competition and mime (silent play). A melodious song was sung by Fr.Principal that showed his immense love for the children. The coordinator of the primary section, Sr. Phyllis delivered inspiring and motivating speech to the children on this day.
The event finally ended with the vote of thanks extended by Fr. Vice Principal. He extended his gratefulness and congratulated the entire teachers who made this event a gala day for all the children of St. Xavier’s High School.
