Description: The Inter-house G.K. Quiz competition for the primary section was held on 23rd September 2017 in the school Auditorium of St. Xavier's High School, Patna. The competition was organised by a team of 6 teachers who were Ms. Priti Angila the co-ordinator of the event. Ms. Sangeeta Kumari, Ms. Rinku Sinha, Ms. Suchita Bhattacharya, Ms. Shagufta Parveen and Mr. Amar Prakash.
The four participating teams were:
Team A (Panthers): Jeet (3C), Md Ibrahim Haider (4B), Shanvi (4C). Team B (Tigers) Divyanshu (3D), Aarav Kumar (4D), Harshita 5D
Team C (Leopards) Ryan Raj(3A), Mukul Singh (4B), Bhargavi (5C) Team D (Lions) Abhinav Bharati (3B), Madeeha Rahman (4B), Daksh Sinha 5D.
The Quiz Masters were Ms. Suchita Bhattacharya and Ms. Shagufta Parveen.
The Quiz began with the introduction of the Quiz Master and contestants from each house. The Rules of the Inter House Quiz competition where announced. The Quiz Master's conducted the rounds in a very interactive way and the team participated with great enthusiasm. They skilfully answered the questions asked. Though some of the questions were very tricky the team tried to answer them with confidence. They enthusiastically took part in 10 exciting rounds based on various subjects such as Language and Literature, Science, General Knowledge, Current Affairs. This was followed by the rapid fire round audio round, video round, Buzzer round, Sports, and Entertainment round. The Quiz Masters prepared a number of interesting questions that tested every aspect of their knowledge. The audio visual round was indeed exciting and greatly appreciated by the audience. The rapid fire round left everyone amazed as the participants answered questions in quick succession. The quiz turned out to be a successful event. The Lions emerged as the overall winners. Panthers were at the 2nd position. Leopards were at 3rd position and Tigers were at the 4th position.. it was truly an exciting experience for the students.
