Description: Recently, our class, along with two other clubs of our school, LTS and Green patriots went for a visit to Indira Gandhi Planetarium. We reached the Planetarium at around 10:50 a. m.
Upon reaching the planetarium, we were guided to the theatre which was on the first floor.There we enjoyed an informative yet interesting 3 D show about stars and the beginning of the universe. After the show, we came out of the theatre and got to explore other things. The floor was full of informative things like, accounts of astronomers, theories about the space, a model of moon rover, ancient clocks, and many such things.
Everyone really enjoyed the visit and got to learn many new things. And after spending an hour in the planetarium we returned back to our school.
It was an enriching experience for all of us. This educational visit should be made part of the school curriculum for better understanding of the concepts we study in our books.
