Description: On 22 nd June, 2024 an Orientation programme for Class XI (ISC) students was held
in the Xavier Hall. The hall was filled with parents and excited students coming
from various school of Patna and definitely some of them were from St. Xavier’s
High School too.
The programme began with a melodious, blissful prayer song asking for the Lord’s
blessings in our lives. There Fr. Rector, Fr. Daniel Raj, S.J, welcomed the august
gathering and acquinted them with the objectives of Jesuit Education i.e, Cura
Personalis (meaning ‘care for the whole self’) and on the vision of the Jesuit
Society.
Fr. Rector was followed by, Fr. Principal, Fr. K.P. Domichan, S.J., who to
welcomed the gathering to be a part of Xavier Family. He even emphasized on
certain guidelines which are essential for them to follow. Fr. Principal at the same
time encouraged them to enjoy their study and try to benefit as much as they can in
these two years of their stay at St. Xavier’s.
The High School co-ordinator, as well as the class teacher of XI ‘F’ Miss Kumud
Henry Ma’am impressed upon the students the value of discipline in one’s life.
She, with the help of Powerpoint Presentation (PPT), made the students aware of
the rules and regulations which must be followed by them.
After Miss Kumud Henry ma’am dealt with the values of discipline, Dr. Punam
Gupta Ma’am, the class teacher of XI ‘E’ highlighted on Academics regarding
syllabus and marking allocation of each subject.
After all the informations had been shared, the session was opened for the parents
to ask questions if they had any. Fr. Principal answered their queries.
The programme concluded with words of gratitude expressed by Fr. Vice Principal
Fr. Junas Kujur, S.J. finally all stood up for the National Anthem.
