Description: Rhymes help children to experience the rhythm and momentum. It provides bite-sized fun learning opportunities for kids which they truly enjoy.
KidZone, the pre-primary wing of St. Xavier’s High School, aiming to provide a fun opportunity to come up on stage, organized the English Rhyme Recitation Competition on 20th July 2023 for the tiny tots of L.K.G.
Eight finalists from each section were selected to come up on stage. All the participants recited their rhymes with creativity and fluency. Our judges, Mrs. Priti Angela and Miss Deeksha Valerie judged on rubrics like presentation, clarity of speech, memorization, voice modulation and actions & expressions.
It was a treat to watch the little children as they shared a few lines with all their hearts. Our Principal Rev. Fr. K.P. Dominic, S.J. and Vice-Principal Fr. Junas Kujur, S.J. Vice-Principal were present in the Loyola Hall to witness the cuteness of the little reciters.
The top three students from each section were given the First, Second & Third Prize along with one Consolation Prize.
Mrs. Shivani Bhaskar, co-ordinater of KidZone gave the vote of thanks and the programme ended with the National Anthem.
