Description: Students of class V almost 225 in number visited Patna museum along with twenty eight teachers from primary on10 th February. It very well served the educational purpose as well as gave them time for enjoyment. They saw the statues of animals which have now become extinct, the currency used in India down the ages etc. They enjoyed most in the children zone. In was very exciting to know about historical thighs in such an entertaining way. They satisfied their curiosity asking many questions to the guide. The most thrilling experience was the game they played solving puzzles and the winner as an award was to sit on the throne. How exciting it was to sit on a real throne and feel like a king! They shared their lunch among themselves and had a nice time. They also went to the newly constructed Bihar museum. It were the same teachers who used to teach them in the class but this time learning was full of fun and the teachers also got an opportunity to add something more to their knowledge and know the in credibility of Bihar. This is a real teaching learning process in a real situation which is going to create an everlasting impression on the minds of the children. Five to six hours that they spent together was really very fruitful as it breathed new zeal and love for the subject, especially history. It was a very good initiative taken by the school to let the children know their surroundings, society and the city instead of just being a bookworm. We can proudly say that the school is grooming and preparing responsible citizens of tomorrow and serving the purpose of education.
