Description: The morning sets the day and the Assembly paves the way for our students to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted to the moral values and unleash their vitality.
The celebration of the 127th birth anniversary of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar started at the serene early morning hours that welcomed one and all to the school campus with the early morning prayer and the soulful song by the school choir. The proceedings of the assembly started with the floral tribute On The Portrait of Dr BR Ambedkar by Reverend Fr Jose Elampassery SJ, Secretary, St. Xavier High School, Fr christu Savarirajan SJ, Principal, St.Xavier High School, Fr Devashish Prasad SJ, Vice Principal, St.Xaviers High School, Sr. Phyllis, PBVM, Coordinator primary section and Mrs Sucheta Roy, Coordinator, High School.
Post this is a brief life sketch of Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, popularly known as Babasaheb was delivered by Suraj Navraj of class 6B and Divyanshu of class 8C. To shed light on the extraordinary life of Babasaheb a series of unknown facts were brought up by yashfa of class 8C and Krishna Shekhar of class 6B. It was followed by the speech of father Rector who gave an insight on Dr Ambedkar’s life and shared a few incidents which can be an inspiration for generations to come. Fr Principal spilled his pearls of wisdom on this occasion.
For designing the back cover of the school diary, a token of appreciation was awarded to Harsh Ranjan of class 8 C by Fr Rector. The Assembly was concluded with the National Anthem.
