Description: One of the aims and objectives of St. Xavier's is to impart leadership qualities in the students and produce future leaders. In order to fulfill its mission Induction Ceremony of the Student Council members was held on 27th April, 2017 during the morning assembly in the presence of all the students and staff members. Though a simple yet it was a grand occasion to see our students marching like soldiers, saluting and bearing the school and house flags proudly. The Student Council is made up of the captains of the teams and the representatives of the co-curricular activities along with elected and nominated students of each class from VI to X. Parliamentary procedure is used for all meetings and the main purpose of the group is to assist the Principal, Vice Principal and the staff and all the students in the carrying out the various affairs of the school. The moderator of this student body is the Principal, who guides the students in a very creative way. The most important and the proud moment of the event was to see the students from primary section holding the posts of Student Council members and emerging as future leaders. All the Council members were given badges by the Principal. They all took the oath stretch their hands forward, to always lend their hands to help, work, assist and shoulder their responsibilities. We wish them all, all the best, for they constitute the pillars of the school.
