Description: It is a matter of pride not only to be an Indian but also to belong to Bihar. It is our Honorable Chief Minister, Mr. Nitish Kumar who made us feel proud by celebrating the Prakash Parv, spreading the fervour of communal harmony which was followed by his yet another giant step, formation of Human Chain to make Bihar alcohol free. It has set a record in which almost 3 crore people from senior politicians, monks to school children joined hands to form 11000 kilometres long human chain. Our school St. Xavier's High School feels proud to be a part of it. Almost 1500 students along with Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and staff members participated in it. The students stood with hands in hands for more than an hour with banners and posters in their hands, promoting prohibition of liquor in Bihar. Four of our students also went to Gandhi Maidan dressed as a Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Christian and joined hands together to show our solidarity. It is the children who are the future of tomorrow who can bring a positive change in society and be an inspiration for others. Our school is a temple of learning which always stands for its motto 'For God and Country' and is ready to contribute for a noble cause. It is the time to make students aware of their social responsibilities and we are always ready to fulfil it along with academics.
