Description: Rhymes are repeated similar sounds that are used as literary tools. They are a form of poetry that uses repetition to create a rhythm and rhyming scheme. Rhymes are used as mnemonic devices to help memorize or learn facts as well as to entertain and engage young readers.
On 21st July, 2023 a Hindi Rhyme Recitation Competition was held in Loyola Hall for the children of LKG.
Our Principal, respected Fr. K.P. Dominic, S.J. and Vice-Principal Fr. Junas Kujur, S.J. were present to encourage the tiny-tots and to boost the confidence of the participants.
Mrs. Tanushree and Mr. Nikhil John judged the competition Fr. Principal presented saplings to the judges while the little ones presented hand made cards to the judges.
The programme started with a prayer song. After that, the participants recited the rhymes one by one. The style of recitation and confidence of the participants made everyone present there proud and happy. The competition was enjoyed by everyone. It helped our little ones in strengthening their confidence, pronunciation, spoken and listening skills. Some of the rhymes which were recited by the children were Pyasa Kauwa Aha Tamator, Sawera, etc.
Mrs.Shivani Bhaskar KidZone coordinator, concluded the competition by presenting vote of thanks.
