Description: Various types of competitions are frequently held at St. Xavier’s High School.
English Story Telling Competition is one of them.
Story telling competition is the best way to boost the confidence and speaking
skills of children in front of the crowd.
English story telling competition for UKG students of KidZone was held on 27th
September 2022 in Loyola Hall. There were forty participants.
The programme started with lighting of the lamp and prayer song by Mrs. Pallavi
Srivastava and Mrs. Archana Christy.
After the prayer song, our Principal Fr. A. Christu Savarirajan, S.J. gave a
motivational speech to encourage the students. The little kids of UKG participated
in the competition enthusiastically.
They narrated their stories with actions, facial expression and voice modulation in
front of the judges Mrs. Mamta and Mrs. Nidhi Singh. Some of the stories were
Thirsty Crow, Honesty, The lion and the Mouse, Ugly Tree etc. The hall was reverberating with the sound of clappings.
The vote of thanks was proposed by our KidZone co-ordinator Mrs. Shivani
Bhaskar.
Extra -curricular activities are equally important for the progress of the children.
