Description: On 25th July,2024, Thursday, the students of class LKG of St. Xaviers High
School, Patna, KidZone showcased their linguistic skills and creativity through a
delightful English Rhyme Recitation Competition. This event was aimed to foster
a love for language, build confidence and encourage self expression among our
young learners.
The programme commenced with a warm welcome by the anchors. Principal
Father K.P. Domichan, S.J., honoured the judges by a bouquet followed by a
beautiful prayer song. Later, Father Principal encouraged and motivated the
participants to perform well. He also praised the hard work done by the entire
KidZone team.
The competition began with LKG-A. All the 40 participants recited a variety of
traditional and modern rhymes. Each participant presented their favourite rhyme
with enthusiasm and poise. The entire audience and judges laughed when a kid
recited the rhyme. Wheels on the Bus, as he performed very cutely.
Our esteemed judges, Mrs. Khushboo from St. John’s Academy, Kankarbagh and
Mrs. Reshma Reshu from Primary Wing, St. Xavier’s High School praised the
participants for their efforts and thanked Father Principal for inviting them as the
judge of this special event.
The rhyme recitation competition was a resounding success, highlighting students’
creativity, confidence and language skills.
Vote of thanks was given by our KidZone coordinator Mrs. Shivani Bhaskar
followed by the National Anthem. Lastly, the students were dispersed to their
respective classroom.
