Description: Auspicious was the day and so was the ambience felt by everyone. It was the day
we celebrated the feast of St. Ignatius of Loyola with the theme of Ignatian
Examen, conducted by the YCS students. The celebration embarked with the floral
tribute to our Patron. St. Ignatius of Loyola by the Jesuit companions followed by
a heartfelt prayer dance. The soulful lyrics of the prayer dance took everyone to
God’s dear. The holy atmosphere was enhanced by this speech given by two of
our students, who, with their wonds, threw light on the Ignatian Examen. Next in
the list of programs was the skit which was passed on the theme for the day,
Ignatian Examen, which deals with the importance of examine of conscience and
its’ benefits.
It had all the elements of a wonderful performance. The school choir then gave a
melodious performance with a song dedicated to the Patron.
“Hey Santon mein shreshth tumhe hai shat shat naman tumhara”. These were the
lyrics that touched everyone’s soul. The respected Jesuits, who were there with us
throughout the program, were then felicitated on the stage. Their presence was
what made the program successful and more auspicious. Respected Father Rector,
who took the stage next, addressed us with his sanctified words on the theme for
the day. “Gratitude is the greatest of all virtue”. The program was conducded with
Mr. Amar Prakash vote of thanks.
