Description: On 5th of May, 29th Ambedkar painting competition was organised by Mr. J. K. Das. It was held for the students of classes I to X. Different topics were given to different classes. The students from classes I to X spread on the basement, school hall, stage with their colours to exhibit their skills of painting on various topics. Classes I and II drew on the topic cartoons, pet animals and fruits. Classes III and IV got the topic sunrise, rangoli and river bank. Classes V and VI got the topic village scene, fruit basket and sunset. For classes VII and VIII, the topic was bird's nest, village scene and mall. IX and X drew on festivals, Madhubani Painting and save Earth. Almost 400 students were engaged for almost one hour with their colours. It was a great sight to see the place flooded with colours and it was a great opportunity for the students to rediscover themselves as budding artists. Children received prizes for I , II and III and even got consolation prizes from the school and again the best paintings will be adjudged at Inter School level by the organizing committee. Such activities give a break to the students from the boredom of studies which helps them in their all round development. The colourful paintings reminded us, how colourful is God's world! We need to cherish it and appreciate it.
