Description: The month of March is considered to be the busiest month of the year as it marks the closing of the financial and academic year . But how can we forget to welcome our little angels who are waiting to enter our temple of education! So amid lots of hustle and bustle we formally welcomed these students who freshly took admission in LKG in the Kid Zone section of our school. An orientation programme for them was organised on 25th of March in our school. St. Xavier's stands for its motto 'For God and Country' and it was not only the beginning of the journey of these kids but for us as well, to once again take the pledge to fulfill our mission of preparing the children into men and women of Competence, Compassion, Conscience and Commitment rather than for any mercenary motive. More than 300 parents assembled in the school hall eagerly listening to our XPTA President, Dr. Amitabh, Fr. Rector, Fr. Principal and Fr. Vice Principal who all acquainted them with the mission and motive of our institution. Some of the kids who came with their parents sat with their faces shining like bright winter morning, unaware of the happenings but their bright eyes were as if inquiring of the love and care they want to receive, to which we promised. Though at first sight it seems very simple to teach small kids, it is rather the toughest job to fit in the small frame of the children's mind---- to play, act, behave, think like them but at the same time nurture these tender saplings with knowledge and love away from their roots (parents) and prepare them for future . It is the need of the time to acquaint and train our children of hygiene, manners, discipline which will not only groom them as good gentlemen and ladies but will also help bring changes and motivation in their environment. Who else than a missionary school can do so? We congratulate and welcome the parents who have strived hard and have entrusted us with this responsibility. We always look forward for your support as we extend our hands to hold those tender hands of your wards to let them explore and fly in the limitless sky. Once again we welcome you all to our Xavier family.
