Description: St. Xavier’s High School, Patna organized an Inter– Religious prayer service on 27 April, 2022 in the school premises.
The auspicious event began with the lighting of lamp by Rev. Fr Principal, Rev. Fr vice Principal, Bro. Treasurer and co coordinators of our school. This followed by invoking God’s presence through a bhajan ‘Teri Aaradhana’ by the school choir.
Rev. Fr. Christu Savarirajan, the principal of the school enlightened the audience on the topic ‘Unity in Diversity’ where he said that we all go to different place to worship but it is ‘one true god’ to whom we worship. He emphasized on the value of respect and brotherhood.
The reading from the holy Bible, Gita , Quran and Guru Granth Saheb were read by our
teachers and students. All these holy reading talked about the unconditional love, guidance and mercy of god. The prayers of petitions were offered by the teachers, where they took time to pray for the various needs of our country and for the needs of the world.
A vote of thanks was proposed by our respected Vice-Principal Rev. Fr. Junas Kujur. He
expressed the words of gratitude on behalf of the management to the organizing team and all
the people involved. The school choir sang the concluding song ‘On this school your blessing
lord’ while the Priests from our school blessed the school building.
With this prayer service the aim of coming together and the bond of unity was strengthened.
